He received his BA (Hons) in Photography from Arts University Bournemouth in 2022 and will be completing his MA with the University of the West of England in 2025.
Sam’s practice often focusses on the interplay between images and texts. He is currently working on a body of work titled Not Hiding but Trying Not to Be Seen in which he is exploring searching, loss, and melancholia conveyed through a series of intimate image and text pieces.
Sam co-founded Vessel Editions, a platform dedicated to sharing and publishing writings and works by early-career artists interested in the book form.
