Between 2021 and 2023, Sam ran the platform and publisher Vessel Editions, which shared and published writings and works by early-career artists interested in the book form.
In January 2025, he launched his new imprint, Vase, with its first publication, When We Fall In-Between, set for release in 2025.
Alongside Sam’s personal practice and publishing endeavours, Sam also writes about photography (and other things) on his Substack.
In 2024, he was Writer-in-Residence at Serchia Gallery.
